2025-2026 PRTSC Referee Program

Junior Referee

Do you have a child 11+ years old with interest in becoming a referee?

The junior referee program is a GREAT way to start.

What is a Junior Referee?

The intent of this program is to bring in those kids that are looking to become referees but may not be ready or possibly too young for the full referee certification process.

Junior referees will be taught the basic fundamentals of being a soccer referee.

2025-2026 Season Referee Information

Junior Referees (Tier 1) (referee ages 11,12 and first year referees): These are for Refereeing Divisions U8 and below. Unless otherwise granted referees should only sign up for these age groups. Do not sign up for the mentor position; this is for a senior referee.
Unlicensed Center/Non Certified Referee (Tier 2)* - Games will be U10 and up. Referee ages 13 and up with permission. $20 per game.
Unlicensed/Non-Certified Assistant Referee (Tier 2)* - Games will be U10 and up. Referee ages 13 and up with permission. $15 per game.
1st year Licensed/Certified Referee (Tier 3) - $25 per game any position. Please try and schedule for U10 and up. If there is a need in U8 and below we will reach out.
Senior Certified Referee (Tier 4) (more than 1 year of licensing) - $35 per game any position. Please try and schedule for U10 and up. If there is a need in U8 and below we will reach out.

It will be up to the club board members to determine the readiness of each referee. The board reserves the right to adjust tier, pay level and assignments based on referee readiness.
